(1) Smoothness of the paper surface. The contact between the thermal paper and the thermal head must be good to ensure that the heat is effectively transferred to the color layer on the paper. The heating temperature of the resistance body inside the thermal head is generally 300～350℃. The part that passes through the protective layer on the surface of the thermal head is transferred to the thermal paper through the tiny gap between the thermal head and the paper. This part of the heat energy must be at room temperature. The surface of the paper is quickly heated to 80～100℃ to ensure the color development of the thermal paper. The smoothness of the paper surface can ensure the effective transfer of heat energy.
(2) The thermal coating is thick. Or expressed by the amount of coating. Generally speaking, it is not enough for the heat-sensitive coating to have heat-sensitive reactants. A certain amount of reactants is needed to ensure that there are enough collision opportunities between the reactants when the coating is heated to achieve the purpose of improving sensitivity. . The particle size of the material can reflect the contact area of the two reactants of the dye and the developer in the unit area of the thermal paper coating. From the reaction of these two substances, the larger the contact area, the more favorable the reaction.
